Biography
Eileen Maddocks is an independent researcher and writer from Vermont who describes herself as a curious student. She has authored four books: "1844: Convergence in Prophecy for Judaism, Christianity, Islam and the Bahá’í Faith," and "The Coming of the Glory: How the Hebrew Scriptures Reveal the Plan of God," a trilogy that offers a Bahá’í perspective on the Hebrew Bible and its prophecies chronologically within Israelite history. Maddocks emphasizes the importance of knowing the Old and New Testaments as the Word of God, a principle she adopted from ‘Abdu’l-Bahá’s admonition. She is also a regular presenter on Clearwater Bahá’ís and maintains a Substack and an email mailing list for updates on her projects.
The "Kings and Prophets" series is a new eight-week summer program that will explore the Hebrew prophets and their work within the Dispensation of Moses. This series follows "The Pentateuch," which was presented last fall and winter. The canonical prophets, those with their own books, each provided messages and prophecies that are relevant today.
