Storytelling Sundays is a collaboration between the Clearwater Bahá’ís and Violetta Zein, focusing on stories from the history of the Bábí and Bahá’í Faiths from the heroic age and early formative age of the Faith.

Storytelling Sundays #10 this Sunday 26 February is Part II on on the life of Tahirih in honor of International Women’s Day on 8 March 2023!

In this talk Violetta will focus on Tahirih’s return to Persia after three years in Iraq and her discovery of the Bábí Faith, we will see her in the home of Bahá’u’lláh, at the conference of Badasht, traveling in Mazindaran for two years, and finally we will look at her imprisonment in Tihran for two years and her martyrdom in August 1852. We will also look at her poetry and her legacy as an epilogue to the thrilling story ofher life.
