Sunday, July 07, 2024 (11 AM EDT): The Divine Revelation
The first presentation pertains to the divine philosophy of the Báb as a fresh theological framework about the nature of God and His creation, and in the context of God’s progressive revelation throughout history. It will also discuss the nature of the Revelation of the Báb, important events of His life and on the vastness of His written works, particularly, on the Qayyúmu’l-Asmá and the Persian Bayán. An analysis will follow on the many purposes of the religion of the Báb including its greatness, the universality of His mandate and the aggressive opposition that the new teachings attracted in nineteenth century Persia.
