Day 3: Religious Unity and the Removal of Conflict
This session addresses why religions appear to conflict and how focusing on essential teachings can lead to global reconciliation.
Reality vs. Imitation: Conflict arises because followers have forsaken the “essential foundation” (reality) and instead cling to “imitations” (dogmas, forms, and human interpretations).
Investigation of Truth: By independently investigating the foundation of reality—which is one and indivisible—all people can find a basis for agreement and unification.
The Remedy for Discord: Religion is intended to be a “healing balm” for humanity; if it becomes a cause of hatred and warfare, its absence is preferable to its misuse.
The Vision for the Future: The document highlights the need for world religious leaders to counsel together to resolve differences and establish a “divine Jerusalem” where the “Holy of Holies” (the essence of religion) is manifest to all.
