Speaker Biography: Mr. William Varner is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, a husband of 48 years, a father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He has been a Baha’i for 57 years, serving as an international pioneer to Zambia and Canada, and in various administrative capacities. While in Canada he facilitated workshops on diversity and overcoming racism as a member of the National Coalition Building Institute, co-founded an interactive theater group addressing social ills helped coordinate youth activities at the local Native Friendship Center, and served at the Maxwell International Baha’i School. He is a founding member of the Black Baha’i Men’s Gathering and the founder and CEO of The Ever Advancing Center for Human Development, Inc.
